Student Affairs Graphic Standards, Logos & Templates
Graphic Standards : SA Logos : Web : Powerpoint Templates : Anteater Graphics
In order to create a unified identity and consistent experience for users of Student Affairs' online services, web standards have been established for the upper levels of all the units' sites. These standards include layout and content presentation guidelines and graphic standards in the form of HTML, CSS and image templates.
While the materials provided are oriented toward promoting a consistent identity, flexibility has been built into them to allow for a variety of needs and approaches. All materials have accompanying documentation to facilitate their implementation.
Layout Guidelines
There are three options for Student Affairs department pages. Template 1 offers a banner look consistent with the University of California, Irvine home page, uci.edu, with 2- or 3-column body and footer areas distinct to the Student Affairs pages. Template 2 offers 2- or 3-column body and a modified banner with a photo image element which refreshes upon reload. The third option for Student Affairs units is the uci.edu second-level template available through University Communications.
Most text formatting, including color and fonts, may be achieved through the use of automated Cascading Style Sheets of CSS, which are included in the downloadable template sets.
