If your school/organization HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED AND RESERVED tickets AND transportation reimbursement, please be aware of the following:

1. Contact should wait for confirmation from UC Irvine prior to making bus transportation arrangements.

2. Tickets will be distributed upon arrival to the Bren Events Center.

3. Each school/organization must provide chaperones to accompany their students. Each school/organization will be held strictly accountable for the behavior and conduct of their students. Any misconduct or inappropriate behavior by the students may result in the dismissal of the group from the event.

4. Each school/organization will provide a complete roster of attendees upon arrival to the event, including chaperones.

5. A UC Irvine representative will confirm the number of students on board the bus once it arrives on campus.

6. Only schools/organizations that meet the minimum student attendance requirement (minimum 45 students per bus) will be reimbursed.

Bus Reimbursement Qualifications
UC Irvine will assist qualified schools and organizations with transportation costs to this event. Payment for transportation will be in the form of a reimbursement after the event.

Each school/organization will be required to make all arrangements for transportation to UC Irvine, including scheduling and payment.

Terms of qualification for reimbursement are as follows:

1. School/Organization must register with UC Irvine no later than March 26, 2004.

2. Must be a California public or private middle/high school or organization.

3. Each bus must have at least 45 students on board upon arrival.

4. Reimbursement will not exceed $375 per bus.

5. Each school, district or organization must submit an official school/district invoice and/or original receipt for transportation services by May 14, 2004 to:

PLEASE ARRIVE BY 8:00 A.M FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE.

8:00 AM IN THE BREN EVENTS CENTER.

UC IRVINE IS ABLE TO PROVIDE LIMITED BUS TRANSPORTATION OPPORTUNITIES.

EVENT TICKETS AND TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE
ARE ON A FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED BASIS.
